About Ken Masser

Ken is recognised as one of the leading practitioners in practical systems leadership and is a keynote speaker on a range of leadership programmes. His previous clients include Wakefield Council, Yorkshire Sport, Youth Sport Trust, Blackburn with Darwen Council, Sport England and the LGA.

For more than 5 years Ken has worked in a range of roles alongside strategic and place leaders and influencing system change. Much of this work has involved inclusive and creative engagement approaches to understanding the context of places and organisations, designing new and innovative programmes and approaches to establishing networks and building common purpose among communities.

Ken is also an active influencer in terms of “sharing the learning” and has been involved in a range of podcasts, including as a guest on the LGA Nudges for Social Good podcast, and the Ratio Systems Change Podcast. He has written a range of blogs on topics such as “How to Build Common Purpose”, “Distributing Power: A leaderful approach”, and “Leading in Complexity”. He has also supported Sport England with the development and writing of key strategic narrative pieces, blogs articles and developed models for change.
